Farnborough International Airshow 2026
For decades, the Farnborough International Airshow (FIA) has been the global platform for the aerospace and defence industry. At the last Airshow, over 1,200 exhibitors from 44 countries presented their products to over international over 70,000 visitors.
Austria’s aviation industry employs over 10 000 people. The sector has an export quota of approx. 75%, with the UK being the third largest export market in Europe.
Austria’s aerospace companies offer a wide range of products and services such as metal and plastic components and systems for major civilian aircraft manufacturers, the manufacture of inspection systems, innovative solutions for air traffic control, training and education, and particularly the production of small aircraft and aircraft engines for civil aviation.
