From May 20–22, 2026, ADVANTAGE AUSTRIA proudly presented a strong lineup of Austrian agricultural expertise at the AGRITECHNICA ASIA 2026 trade fair in Bangkok. At our group stand at the BITEC Exhibition Center, four leading Austrian companies showcased their innovative solutions for the future of agriculture:

  • APV – innovative agricultural technology products, with a strong focus on quality, user-friendliness, and service.
  • Göweil – innovative agricultural machinery with a focus on modern baling and wrapping technology for silage bags.
  • Pessl Instruments – provider of tools for informed decision making for more than 41 years.
  • Pörner Group – leading independent engineering company specializing in process plant construction in Central Europe.

With Thailand’s aging population leading to fewer available agricultural workers, the demand for automation and modernization in farming is growing rapidly. At the same time, agriculture across Southeast Asia is undergoing a fundamental transformation, moving away from traditional methods toward modern, technology-driven, high-value, and sustainable production models. Austrian companies, with their proven expertise and advanced technologies, are ideally positioned to support this regional shift and contribute to sustainable growth in Thailand and beyond.

We thank all visitors who stopped by our booth at BITEC for the valuable discussions and new connections. The three-day exchange highlighted the crucial role of international collaboration in advancing agricultural technology.
