Building on the success of the AUSTRIA CONNECT UK series in previous years, the Austrian Trade Commission London is organising the eighth full-day conference for executives of Austrian subsidiaries in the UK at the iconic Smith Centre (located on the ground floor of the Science Museum) in Central London on 16^th May 2024.

What is AUSTRIA CONNECT UK? 

• AUSTRIA CONNECT UK is an annual conference and the only chance to meet such a large number of executives from Austrian business in the UK across all industry sectors. Expect to meet many new faces.

• At the event itself, delegates will gain valuable insights from leading British political, business and innovation experts. This year we will focus on how to enable growth in a challenging geopolitical and economically stagnating environment. Which strings can be pulled by politics, which strategies promise success for business and which role can innovation and technology play to support sustainable growth and greater prosperity. • There will be ample “time and room” to exchange views and network with event partners and other members of the UK-Austrian business community.

• For the first time, we plan to bring in young professionals and graduates in the UK in a “Meet Austrian Talent” session. The lack of skilled labour ranks first in our latest business sentiment survey results and we wish to provide hands-on support to Austrian business in the UK.
